It can’t wait!
My wife Mindy and I were expecting, and we had practiced the routine until we had it down pat. The hospital bag was already in the trunk of the car, and so the moment the contractions began I escorted Mindy down to the van, helped her in, buckled up turned the keys in the ignition, and pressed the garage door remote.
It wouldn’t open. I had noticed the garage door stalling the other day but gave it no further thought at the time. Now were in trouble.
And then Mindy’s water broke. I called my cousin Andrew, frantic, and fortunately he managed to drag himself out of bed and get us to the hospital on time. But what I didn’t expect was that he would call 247 Lifetime Garage Doors and manage to get the openers repaired the very same day. It’s been 2 years and I never had another issue. But I’ll still call them up for maintenance soon. We’re expecting again, after all.
